Amber Heard weighs into Barnaby Joyce with kiwi fruit tweet

FIRST Barnaby Joyce kicked Amber Heard’s dogs out and made her film a grovelling apology with Johnny Depp. Now the Hollywood star has hit back, trolling the Deputy PM over his citizenship woes.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have likely never forgiven Barnaby Joyce for making them do this.

HOLLYWOOD star Amber Heard has sent Australian Deputy PM Barnaby Joyce “a box of New Zealand’s finest kiwifruit” as the politician grapples with citizenship woes.

Heard tweeted today: “To comfort Mr. Joyce in his hour need, I have sent him a box of New Zealand’s finest Kiwi fruit (assuming this passes his biosecurity laws).”

Her “biosecurity laws” zinger relates to legal tussles, with Mr Joyce leading the outrage, when Heard and ex-husband Johnny smuggled their Yorkshire terriers Pistol and Boo into the Gold Coast in 2015.

Depp and Heard’s dogs at the centre of the tense US-Australia relations.

Deep and Heard were slapped with a $1000 and had to film a now-infamous biosecurity video about the dangers of dodging customs.

Mr Joyce also threatened to kill Pistol and Boo if they did not “bugger off back to the United States.”

But with Mr Joyce seemingly in limbo over revelations he may be a New Zealand citizen, Heard unleashed on social media today.

She also tweeted: “When @Barnaby_Joyce said “no one is above the law” I didn’t realise he meant New Zealand law ...”

The feud between Joyce and Depp has run long and deep.

Joyce mocked Depp’s biosecurity video and said it looked like the actor was “trying to audition for The Godfather.”

He also called Depp a “dipstick.”

On a US talk show, Depp said “Barnaby Jones ... looks somehow inbred with a tomato.”

Depp also asked whether it was an appropriate use of taxpayer dollars to target him and his wife.

He said: “I think the choice they made to utilise the taxpayer dollars to globally chase down a couple of teacup Yorkies and give them 50 hours to live, I realised the baddies of my ways.”
