The wealthy Valmorbida family is famed for wholesaling La Gina canned tomatoes and Sirena tuna to Australian in the ’70s.

But they became a household name as the family behind importing the Lavazza coffee brand and bringing a party vibe to Flemington’s famed Birdcage.

Patriarch John Valmorbida told Saturday Confidential he was looking forward to the festivities. “She’s my baby girl and I can’t wait for it. He is a lovely boy, too, and we are all looking forward to it,” he said ahead of the wedding.
