A ute driver who sideswiped a fellow motorist near the Big Banana at Coffs Harbour then sped off was filmed on camera

A UTE driver can expect a knock on the door from the police after side swiping another motorists before failing to stop near the Big Banana at Coffs Harbour.

A UTE driver can expect a knock on the door from the police after side swiping another motorists before failing to stop near the Big Banana at Coffs Harbour.

Dashcam footage filmed by the motorist, identifed as Greg, was uploaded to the Dashcam Owners Australia Facebook page yesterday.

It shows Greg’s red vehicle travelling south along the Pacific Highway on Monday.

A Toyota Landcruiser Utitlity is then seen to change lanes into the path of the red car which immediately pulls over.

But instead of pulling over to exchange details the ute driver speeds off towards Coffs Harbour.

According to the Coffs Harbour Advocate local police have viewed the footage and will be paying a visit to the driver of ute.

The collision happened just metres from the Big banana tourist attraction in Coffs Harbour.
