Three people broke out into a fight at a Malak service station

Witnesses said they were afraid as a bloody brawl between three people broke out inside a Top End service station. Read what happened.

A witness said they were afraid what would happen next after a man and two women carried out a bloody brawl inside a Malak service station.

The man was allegedly intoxicated when he entered the building on Holzerland Street, with some customers already inside about 3.30pm Thursday.

He was followed by two women and then the incident allegedly turned aggressive with the three using store items as weapons against each other.

During the fracas the man allegedly used a steel rod to attack one of the women.

One woman was seen holding bloody tissues to her wounded head following the altercation.

Another woman was seen approaching the man, slapping the man and shouting “don’t hit my daughter”.

One of the women was taken to hospital.

There have been no known arrests relating to the incident.
