Million Dollar Fish Charity barra marks

REGISTRATIONS for the “biggest ever” Million Dollar Fish opened on Wednsday, with eight prized barramundi now swimming around the Territory’s waterways.

Tagging of barra is already underway ahead of the seventh season of the iconic Top End competition, which launches on October 1 and runs until March 31 2022.

The recently released Million Dollar Fish for season seven joins seven other barra tagged for the top prize.

Once one of the eight is fished out, the other seven revert back to the $10,000 prize.

There are also another 100 barra with red tags which award a $10,000 prize each.

Every tagged fish also sees an extra $1000 donated to charity, with a Million Dollar Fish awarding $10,000 to the ‘Official Charity Partner’.
