Darwin Motor Group has announced the arrival of KGM, the newly rebranded South Korean vehicle manufacturer formerly known as SsangYong.

Leith Dobson, dealer principal at Darwin Motor Group, said with the refreshed name, innovative redesigns and rugged capability, KGM vehicles were set to tackle everything Territory “from the daily grind to dirt roads”.

He said with models like Musso ute and the Rexton SUV, KGM vehicles were more than a match for the Territory’s harsh conditions.

“Up here, we need a vehicle that can handle a bit more than the school run,” Mr Dobson said. “We’re talking serious towing, off-road ability for the family and tech that actually works in real-world conditions. KGM delivers all of that without the bloated price tag.”

The Rexton large SUV is available from $45,000 driveaway for ABN holders, while the Musso dual-cab ute starts from only $36,000 driveaway for ABN holders.

“We’re excited to bring something fresh to the local market,” Mr Dobson said.

“KGM vehicles are packed with value and designed with the kind of toughness and

versatility that suits Darwin drivers. These are 4x4s and utes you won’t be afraid to

put through their paces.”

Mr Dobson said as part of its welcome to the Territory, Darwin Motor Group was inviting locals to head in and test drive the range, including the Musso, one of Australia’s best-value dual-cab utes, and the Rexton, a large SUV that blends comfort with serious off-road credentials.

“You don’t need to sacrifice comfort or capability, KGM proves you can have both,” Mr Dobson said.

“Best of all, you’ve got local backup from a team who knows the Territory and knows what these cars need to handle out here.”

Backed by a seven-year unlimited kilometre warranty, KGM is now available at Darwin Motor Group.
