SERIAL conman Peter Foster has been taken in handcuffs from his Port Douglas holiday home after his dramatic arrest on Four Mile Beach this morning.
Foster, 57, is the subject of an investigation into an online sports trading operation named Sports Predictions and it is alleged he fleeced millions of dollars from investors.
It is believed he has been staying in Port Douglas for several weeks after travelling from his palatial Gold Coast home.
Detectives from the Far North’s Major and Organised Crime Squad led Foster from the Andrews Cl townhouse around midday in handcuffs into a waiting vehicle.

They spent about four hours raiding the residence and were seen carrying several bags and items out prior to escorting him to the unmarked four wheel drive.
Police took some time securing his seatbelt and he said “that’s it, we can’t go”.
He then told waiting media “I’m disappointed. This wasn’t necessary” before being driven away.

Three plain-clothed police officers arrested Foster as he was walking his two dogs along Four Mile Beach earlier this morning.
Sitting on the sand in handcuffs, one officer told a dazed Foster he was the subject of a NSW arrest warrant.
“I’m very worried about my little dogs,” the serial fraudster replied.
