TOURISTS on a boat on the central Queensland coast were evacuated this afternoon after the vessel caught fire and started to sink.
There were 42 people on board when the fire broke out in the engine room.
The boat was about 10 nautical miles from Lady Musgrave Island, reported the ABC.
It’s believed all those on board have taken to life rafts. There are no reports of injuries.
