SOCIALITE Shari-Lea Hitchcock has accused a man of causing facial injuries she shared on social media.

The former long-time mistress of billionaire Richard Pratt went online late last night with an extraordinary spray, posting an image of her bloodied face and accusing a man of causing the nasty gash.

“What a prize he is,” Hitchcock, 47, wrote on Instagram, saying the incident took place when she “ran to help” another woman . “I promised I would not call the police ! He’s an abusive man.

When contacted, the woman said: “I have no idea what went on at Watson’s Bay Pub. I have no comment.”

Police were called to Fitzwilliam Road, Vaucluse, after reports of an assault last night.

Officers from Rose Bay Local Area Command found a 47-year-old woman with scratches to her face and bruising. Police are continuing their inquiries.

Hitchcock is a former swimsuit model turned lawyer. She completed her legal studies at Canberra University and was admitted as a solicitor in 1995.

Pratt was an Australian businessman and a leading figure of Melbourne society. He died in April 2009 after his battle with prostate cancer.

Years before Pratt’s death, he was named as one of Australia’s richest people with an estimated fortune valued at A$5.48 billion.
