Shannon Noll Mt Isa show cancelled but Gold Coast show must go on
SHANNON Noll’s Mt Isa show has been cancelled after last week’s aggro tirade, but his GC show is a goer. Last time he was busted feeding a girl a shoey, what will it be this time?

CONTROVERSY seems to follow Shannon Noll wherever he goes, but it won’t be following him to Mt Isa in August because organisers have cancelled his appearance.
Despite that, Nollsy will still perform here on the Gold Coast at the Parkwood Tavern tomorrow night.
The Australian Idol runner up was filmed hurling abuse at a punter who threw a can at the stage at a Duck Creek gig last Saturday.
“Have some balls and get up here and I’ll punch your f--king teeth down your throat … then I’ll f--k your missus and your mum,” Noll shouted into the mic.
During the week local business I Clean Solar Gold Coast ran a Facebook competition giving away two tickets to tonight’s show, attracting hundreds of comments from hopeful attendees.
The post finishes with “We would recommend leaving your can throwing skills at home for this gig”.
Under the post, cheeky comments included “I wouldn't take ya missus or mum”, “Gees this is the second concert of his this week that the Wife and Mother have booked tickets to. I didn't even know they like his music” and “I’m thinking about going to stir him up to so I can make another viral video”.
There were also a smattering of comments unimpressed with the foul-mouthed rant, which Noll apologised for on Facebook.
The Mount Isa Mines Rotary Rodeo General Manager Ms Natalie Flecker cited this violent outburst as the reason for his cancelled appearance.
“We pride ourselves on our family-friendly environment and reputation so we have made this operational decision to ensure we deliver the best event experience for all attendees,” she said.
Both Parkwood Tavern and Noll’s management confirmed the show would go on.
