ONE Nation leader Pauline Hanson has quit her weekly interview on Channel 7’s Sunrise program in protest of the “treatment” levelled by host David Koch this week.
Senator Hanson informed Channel 7 of her decision today.
After the fiery interview, in which Koch spoke over her and leaned in quite close to the polarising politician, Senator Hanson decided it was treatment she would not tolerate.

A Meals on Wheels in Pine Rivers was receiving payment for the appearance of Senator Hanson, who wanted Channel 7 to donate to a charity in exchange of her regular slots.
The tit-for-tat exchange centred on the mass murder in Christchurch by an alleged right-wing extremist born in Australia.
Koch said the alleged killer’s manifesto read like One Nation’s immigration and Muslim policy.
“Do you feel complicit with this atrocity?” he asked.
Senator Hanson said to Koch, “Go out to Fairfield and out to these other areas. Go and ask the Lebanese Christians what’s happened to their country. They’ll tell you exactly, and they’re in fear of the same thing happening here”.
Seven faced a backlash from some viewers who pointed out the network was being hypocritical given it had given her a platform for so long.
Koch defended his interview tone during an interview KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O this morning.
“I’m a bit too passionate about this because I do work with Muslim youth workers in western Sydney,” he said.
“When politicians talk and they pit Australians against Muslims and the scaremongering, these kids deal with it on the street. They fear for their safety.
“What happened in New Zealand just really got to me because we’re a society now that’s becoming a bit dangerous.”
“Pauline’s had a lot worse in parliament, she’s the leader of a major political party. I asked her to justify why she’s so anti-Muslim.”
