Scott Morrison: Shorten should clean up Husar's mess

A SENIOR government frontbencher says disgraced Federal MP Emma Husar should be sacked and disendorsed as a Labor candidate if bullying allegations against her are proven to be true.

The Western Sydney backbencher is at the centre of a NSW Labor Party investigation into claims she bullied and harassed her staff, and has taken personal leave after receiving threats of violence.

Cabinet minister Simon Birmingham was angered by the reports of her conduct, saying "she has no place on Bill Shorten's team" if allegations turn out to be accurate.

The controversial My Health Record system is also making news today, after it was revealed police and law enforcement agencies will be able to access sensitive medical data without a warrant, as the the President of the Australian Medical Association has admitted he does not have a My Health Record even though he is a key advocate for it.

And there's plenty of buzz in the world of Australian politics ahead of the Super Saturday by-elections in three days time. Five electorates go to the polls on Saturday -two in WA and one each in Queensland, Tasmania and South Australia.
