Anthony Albanese has spoken of his embarrassing plunge off a stage, while a star Teal candidate backed by Climate 200 is in hot water again.
The PM’s fall came as US president Donald Trump slapped all Australia imports with a 10 per cent tariff as he unleashed a global trade war and stock market turmoil on what he called “Liberation Day”.

The president’s drastic move sparked anger and outrage around the world, and no country was immune – even the tiny Australian territory of Norfolk Island was hit with a 29 per cent tariff, while China was slugged with 34 per cent and the European Union 20 per cent.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said the Trump administration’s move was “not the act of a friend”, while Opposition Leader Peter Dutton said the PM had been “weak” and “missing in action”.
