Peter Dutton has rounded out the third day of the campaign by appearing on politics in the pub with Sky News’ Paul Murray, downplaying recent polling results showing Labor in front.
He lashed rivals ranging from Labor, to the Greens, to the Teals, repeating his line the Teals present as “disaffected Liberals”, but were really Greens.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has made an embarrassing gaffe after bungling an attempt to definitively rule out sharing power with the Greens in a hung parliament.
Meanwhile, a Chinese “spy ship” that could provide crucial intelligence for submarine operations has sailed into Australian waters and Mr Albanese said he’d “prefer that it wasn’t there”.
