The glamorous long-time partner of captured Comanchero boss Mark Buddle has revealed the couple is no longer together and she has not seen him for a year.

Mel Ter Wisscha told The Daily Telegraph she last saw the exiled bikie boss when they left Dubai in 2021 and she moved to Bodrum in Turkey, while he headed to Northern Cyprus and started a new life.

“I haven’t seen Mark for a year. He’s the father of my children. They see him, I don’t,” Ms Ter Wisscha said.

“I haven’t left Turkey.

“My kids have gone to and from (Northern Cyprus) but I have stayed away.”

BUDDLE FELL FOR EMPLOYEE

Ter Wisscha’s bombshell claim comes as more details emerged of Buddle’s new life and the woman he “tied the knot” with, in what sources claim to be a fake marriage.

It can be revealed Buddle’s new “wife” — known only as Ozge — was an employee of his before they fell in love and got married within a few months of him arriving in Northern Cyprus in July last year.

Buddle arrived on the island on a tourist visa, without Ms Ter Wisscha or the couple’s two children.

But he quickly ingratiated himself with a local businessman who was involved in the car trade, and used his standing to vouch for Buddle, allowing him to extend his one month tourist visa by three months at a time.

Buddle has bought three apartments in the Iskele area of Kyrenia, also known as Girne, and renovated them into one home.

He was living there with Ozge when he was arrested on July 9.

AUSTRALIAN FLIGHT BOOKED

Buddle, through his lawyer, also revealed the Turkish government has reportedly bought him a ticket to Australia via Doha, but he has argued that he wants to buy his own ticket to Jordan. It is believed Buddle is trying to get to Lebanon and Jordan’s capital Amman is less than one hour’s flight to Beirut.

Buddle has told a local newspaper that he made it clear to the police he had a residence permit in Northern Cyprus, that he had investments in the country and that he wanted to defend his rights.

“I didn’t even go through a red light, it’s not my fault,” Buddle is reported as saying.

It has emerged that there is no international arrest warrant for Buddle, nor an extradition request for him to be returned to Australia.

Buddle was arrested in North Cyprus in a raid involving Interpol, local police, and the Turkish coast guard – in case he tried to make a getaway on the water.

North Cyprus authorities have said the reason for Buddle’s arrest was because the man dubbed “Australia’s richest bikie” had been deemed “inconvenient for the peace and security of our people”.  Although new unsubstantiated allegations have surfaced that Buddle was allegedly money laundering and hiding guns while on the island.

Cyprus is a partitioned island, divided along a line running east-west and through its capital Nicosia, with the Greek Cypriot community to the south, known as the Republic of Cyprus, and the northern area, the Turkish Republic of North Cyprus, controlled by Turkey.

PREPARING FOR A FIGHT

Buddle had arrived just weeks after the AN0M sting set up by a global coalition of law enforcement agencies, including the Australian Federal Police, which ensnared alleged criminals around the world after duping them into using phones loaded with an encrypted messaging app controlled by the FBI.

After country hopping from the United Arab Emirates to Lebanon, and Iraq, Buddle had been living in Istanbul in Turkey. In the interview with the newspaper, Buddle is reported as saying he came to Cyprus on holiday, that he loved Cyprus and that he decided to settle there.

It has been revealed that Buddle was being stood over by politicians and asked to pay bribes so he could stay on the beautiful Mediterranean Island.

But he was grabbed by police anyway in a shock raid on July 9, and taken under guard to the Turkish capital Ankara on July 10.

Now Buddle has reportedly agreed to leave the country but is concerned about what will happen to his investments and whether they will be taken by the government.

Buddle reportedly said he has hired a new lawyer and will seek his rights in court.

“Let them explain if I have (committed) a crime or if I am involved in a crime,” he said.
