Boy hurt in serious Jan Juc bike fall

A 11-year boy was flown to the Royal Children’s Hospital on Tuesday after falling off his bike at Jan Juc.

An eleven-year-old boy was flown to the Royal Children’s Hospital on Tuesday night after falling off his bike at Jan Juc.

The boy was in a serious condition after paramedics worked on him for more than an hour — the child having briefly lost consciousness following the crash.

Paramedics were called to Bob Pettitt Reserve at 5pm to treat the boy and he was loaded into the Ambulance Victoria helicopter just before 7pm.

He was taken to hospital with upper body injuries, and two ambulances and police were at the scene.
