BOOKWORMS will have more than 25,000 tales to grab their interest when the Vinnies mega book sale opens up a treasure trove of reading.
From today until Sunday at the Cairns Cruise Liner Terminal avid readers will get the chance to snap up a book bargain from 9am to 5pm.
Vinnies FNQ region retail manager Katrina Lee said the three days would offer much more than just good reads.
“This is the second year of the sale and the event has really grown from last year,” she said.
“We will have quality second hand clothing for $2 for the op-shoppers, as well as bric-a-brac and local musicians playing each day.”
Ms Lee encouraged the public to bag a bargain.
“When you support events like this you help us to help people in need in the local community,” she said.
