MEDIA mogul James Packer has just landed in Gunnedah for the funeral of his mother-in-law Sheelah Baxter,held this afternoon.
Packer arrived in the family helicopter, along with his mother Ros and sister Gretel.
His wife Erica has been in her country home town since Mrs Baxter died last Wednesday after a lengthy battle with cancer.
She was 66.
The Packer family jet flew in a group of relatives and friends for the service to be held at Christ Church Anglican Church at 3pm.
Mrs Baxter is survived by her husband Michael, three children Erica, Joanna and Bill, and six grandchildren.
