Home in south-west Sydney targeted in drive-by shooting

A home has been hit in targeted drive-by shooting in south-west Sydney.
Police were called to the property on Cabramatta Road, Cabramatta about 25 kilometres from the CBD, at 11.45pm on Tuesday after shots were fired.
Witnesses told police a white Toyota Corolla had mounted the footpath and multiple shots were fired at a home, before the car fled the scene.
Five adults and four children who were inside the property at the time weren’t injured in the incident.
A short time later, emergency services were called to Hamel Road, Mount Pritchard, following reports of a car fire.
The fire was extinguished by Fire and Rescue NSW.
There were no reports of injuries.
Following investigations, police have identified the damaged vehicle is the same car from the earlier incident.
Police have established a crime scene and the vehicle is currently undergoing forensic examination.
