A boutique dental clinic on the Gold Coast is set to expand its empire across two borders and into one of Melbourne’s most affluent suburbs.
Oasis Dental will open its two-storey clinic inside the historic Commonwealth Bank building in the bayside suburb of Brighton in July.
The new clinic brings their empire to seven locations, with five in Queensland and one in New South Wales.
Its first location at Broadbeach’s Oasis Shopping Centre opened in 2008.
Oasis Dental founder Dr Andrew Firgaira said it was an “amazing feeling” to be expanding down to Victoria.
“It’s something that’s been on the cards for some time,” he said.
“As a group, we move with the times and take advantage of industry advancements, technology, techniques and staying up to date to keep boosting the benchmark.
“If we take it back to its humble origins, 16 years ago in the Oasis Shopping Centre here in Broadbeach, it’s come a long way.
“We’ve seen natural, organic growth led by an amazing team.”
The Bay St building’s heritage-listed exterior has been restored and the inside transformed into a modern dental clinic.
The group aims to redefine the traditional dental experience by combining state of the art dental technology and an aesthetically pleasing environment they say “mirrors an interior design magazine feature”.
The multimillion-dollar expansion will be led by Dr Bharat Agrawal and Dr Andrew Cheng.
The new Brighton clinic features eight dental studios, a surgical suite, 3D digital scanning and treatment simulations and 3D printing technology.
“The project meets a large gap in the market for spacious, thoughtfully designed dental studios and suites, elevated by top tier clinician talent eager to lead innovation in the industry,” Dr Agrawal said.
“It’s all about now being able to give back to not only our patients but our profession as well via proactive, ongoing education and teaching.
“For us there’s no greater joy than seeing our industry grow and patients everywhere get the best possible treatment.”
Oasis Dental Brighton will open in July at 302-204 Bay St, Brighton.
