A woman has had to be cut free from her car after a crash that has closed an M1 offramp at peak hour.
Emergency services were called to the incident on the motorway northbound near the Hope Island Rd offramp at about 3.50pm on Tuesday.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokeswoman said a person was initially trapped in their vehicle, which had rolled onto its side, and was freed within about half an hour.
A woman in her 40s and a woman in her late teens both reported pain to several areas including the head and neck, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said.
The spokeswoman said it was unconfirmed whether a third person, also a woman in her 40s, had sustained any injuries. No one had yet been transported to hospital.
Police have several lanes to traffic as they work to clear the road, with paramedics and fire crews also still at the scene.
Motorists may experience heavy delays.
More to come.
