Traffic has slowed to a crawl on the M1 on after a car crashed and left a trailer in the middle of the busy road.

Traffic has slowed to a crawl on the Pacific Motorway (M1) on the Gold Coast after a car crashed and left a trailer in the middle of the busy road.
Emergency services were called to the southbound lanes of the M1 at Reedy Creek after the crash about 12.15pm, a Queensland Police Service spokesperson said.
The owner of the car that crashed managed to move the vehicle to the side of the motorway, but the trailer remained in the awkward position, impeding traffic.
The trailer and the car were cleared from the M1 shortly after 12.30pm with the involvement of a tow truck.
Emergency services were also called to a two-car crash on the M1 at Mudgeeraba about 12.30. Queensland Ambulance paramedics assessed two people as stable.
