The first official photos of Gold Coast Miss Universal hopeful Zoe Creed in action have emerged from the competition’s preliminary catwalk in Mexico City.
The city’s golden girl stunned in a red sequin gown as all 130 participants from around the world compete to become one of the 30 finalists ahead of Saturday crowning event.
In an exclusive interview ahead of the finals the Miss Universe Australia revealed a range of health obstacles she had to overcome ahead of the defining international extravaganza.
Health challenges included a debilitating eating disorder and crippling endometriosis pain.
“I’ve dealt with the pain my whole life, like many women have to,” she said.
“We have such an ability to go into flight or fight mode.”
The 23-year-old originally from the Sunshine Coast said the Miss Universe experience so far had been a “whole new world” excited for the connections and road ahead.
