Plumes of black smoke billowed over the Gold Coast as fire crews fought to control a blaze at a popular holiday resort.
Emergency services were called to NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Resort in Biggera Waters at 10.30am Thursday morning to reports of a caravan on fire.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said crews quickly had it under control and power to the site had since been isolated.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesperson said paramedics had checked over people at the site, but there were no injuries.
Police are investigating the cause of the blaze, but believe it to be non-suspicious.
