The Gold Coast’s cutest toddler is only days away from becoming a big brother and his mum says she can’t wait to see his reaction.

18-month-old Charlie Patterson has taken out the toddler title as voted by Bulletin readers.

Charlie’s mum, Lauren Rose described him as a “cheeky, caring and loving little guy”.

Ms Rose said she had a difficult pregnancy and was rushed into an emergency C-section at 37 weeks.

“It’s been a crazy adventure to get where we are today. But he was honestly the easiest baby,” she said.

“I even had to ask the midwives at the hospital when he was born if he is ‘normal’ because he never cried.”

Ms Rose said they were getting ready to have their second baby within the week and was excited to see how Charlie would react.

“We can’t wait to see how much love he shows his baby brother,” she said.

“Having two boys only 18 months apart is going to be so much fun but man have we got our hands full.”

Ms Rose said Charlie was born into a North Melbourne supporter household.

“I was born into the team (as well),” she said.

“Charlie’s great grand parents worked very closely within the club way back when so naturally he has no choice to be a North Melbourne supporter.:

Ms Patterson said Charlie experienced his first AFL game recently and was “so excited” to watch the Gold Coast Suns play.

“He loves to scream “goal! or “ball!” even though he has no idea what it means,” she said.

Voting for the cutest toddler on the Gold Coast closed at 6pm on June 14.
