A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after two people broke into his Upper Coomera home in the early hours of the morning.

A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after two people broke into his Upper Coomera home on Tuesday morning.
Emergency services were called to reports of a “wounding” on Baileys Mountain Rd at around 3.45am.
A Queensland Police statement alleged two people, unknown to the 29-year-old resident, broke into his home and assaulted the victim.
A friend of the 29-year-old rushed him to Gold Coast University Hospital where they assessed “significant” wounds to his arm.
At around 7.30am on Tuesday, the man remained in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Gold Coast police have declared the area a crime scene and investigations are ongoing.
