A woman has been taken to hospital after crashing into a building in Herne Hill on Tuesday morning.
Emergency services were called to a scene on Murphy Ave across the road from Clonard College about 11.35am where a Toyota Koba had crashed into the corner of a house.
The driver of the car, a woman in her 70s, was taken to Geelong hospital in a stable condition with an upper body injury.
It’s understood the house was empty at the time of the crash.
The car was loaded on a tow truck about 12.20pm, revealing minimal damage to the property outside of a chipped brick.
However, a succulent plant and its pot in the front garden weren’t so lucky and were smashed.
SES and CFA had a quick look at the property’s condition, however soon left.
Stickers remained on the car as it was towed that warning the airbags hadn’t gone off.
It is understood the vehicle was moving slowly when it crashed into the building.
Police were also on scene.
