A woman is in hospital and police are investigating following a hit-run in Bell Park on Monday morning.

A woman has been taken to hospital and police are investigating following a hit-run collision in Bell Park on Monday morning.
A Victoria police spokeswoman said it was understood a Suzuki Swift was travelling along Anakie Rd when it veered onto the wrong side of the road and hit a Nissan at about 5am.
The driver of the Suzuki fled the scene.
The driver of the Nissan, a 31-year-old Bell Post Hill woman, was taken to hospital as a precaution.
An onlooker who did not wish to be named told the Geelong Advertiser the scene looked “really bad” with nearby roads blocked off.
An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said paramedics were called the incident in Bell Park and transported the woman by ambulance to Geelong hospital.
The spokeswoman said she was in a stable condition with upper and lower body injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident, or has dashcam or CCTV footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
