A driver has fled the scene of a three vehicle crash on a busy road in Newtown on Wednesday evening.

A driver has allegedly fled the scene of a three vehicle crash in Newtown on Wednesday evening.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said officers were investigating the incident.
“It is believed the male driver of a white Subaru SUV was travelling along Shannon Ave when they collided with a white Suzuki station wagon about 6pm,” she said.
“The impact forced the station wagon to crash into silver Mazda sedan on a roundabout.”
The spokeswoman said no one was injured, however the driver of the white SUV fled the scene.
“The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and investigations remain ongoing,” she said.
Fire Rescue Victoria units also attended the scene.
A spokesman said coolant and petrol was leaking from one of the vehicles however the incident was under control and there was no fire.
