A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a brawl involving five men in Norlane on Wednesday.
Police have arrested one man following the affray, which is alleged to have occurred at Alkira Ave about 2pm.
Victoria Police spokeswoman Darcie Sword said it was understood there was a physical altercation involving five men in a driveway.
A 35-year-old Norlane man was transported to hospital with serious injuries.
A 22-year-old Norlane man was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
A 23-year-old Bell Park man was arrested at the scene and is assisting police with their inquiries.
Police will investigate the circumstances surrounding the assaults.
It is believed the parties involved are known to each other.
A spokesman from Ambulance Victoria said paramedics responded to reports of the incident just after 2pm.
One man was taken by road ambulance to hospital with upper body injuries in a serious condition, while another man has also been taken to hospital in a stable condition.
