Police are investigating a stabbing in Grovedale following reports of a fight.
Officers were called to Tabulam Crt about 3.50am on Friday.
A man in his 30s was treated by paramedics for serious lower body injuries.
Victoria Police spokeswoman Jody Clayton said officers were called to Grovedale after reports of an altercation involving multiple people.
“On arrival police located a man with stab wounds to the lower body,” Leading Senior Constable Clayton said.
The man was taken to Geelong hospital in a stable condition.
