A sex pest has been jailed after masturbating at a bus stop and outside both a primary school and his former home.

Kaleb Silcock, 26, of no fixed address, appeared in Geelong Magistrates’ Court on Friday, pleading guilty to sexual exposure in a public place and directing sexual activity at another person.

Two other counts of directing sexual activity at another person were struck out.

According to documents released by the court, police alleged Silcock exposed himself on multiple occasions on the morning of Sunday, May 5.

Just before 6am, Silcock allegedly exposed his penis on two occasions near the Moorabool St bus interchange.

Silcock appeared to be drug affected, and a witness “held concerns as the accused was continuously approaching females”.

Later that day, Silcock again exposed himself, this time outside a primary school in East Geelong.

Silcock was seen by multiple witnesses, with multiple calls made to triple-0.

“The accused pulled his shorts down to his knees, faced the church (sic) was hanging onto the school fence … masturbating and stroking his penis with his hand,” court documents state.

One witness was allegedly driving a car when Silcock ran towards the vehicle, exposing his penis and making “direct eye contact” from 10-15m away.

The witness had two children in the car with her at the time, according to police.

“This behaviour is brazen and in clear view of (passers-by) who have all observed the accused expose his penis whilst he was stroking it,” court documents said.

Just before 11am on the same day, police received a fifth call concerning Silcock.

Silcock was naked, screaming and “carrying on” outside a former address of his, while masturbating and stripping his clothes off.

A witness captured an eight-second video of Silcock “vigorously masturbating in the nude” outside the address, in full view of the roadway and neighbours, and a car driving past, court documents state.

At 11.22am, police officers attended the address and found Silcock, who was arrested and taken back to Geelong Police Station.

“Prior to being placed under arrest, the accused continued to expose himself to police members,” court documents state.

Silcock has a mild intellectual disability.

Magistrate John Lesser sentenced Silcock to 60 days in jail, with 12 days reckoned as time served.

Several custody management issues were noted, including Silcock’s risk of self-harm, a psychiatric illness and his intellectual disability.

Silcock will appear in court on June 3 on unrelated matters.
