Eureka! These pups have struck gold.
A new world record for most golden retrievers in one place was set on Sunday.
A total 1252 of the playful pups gathered at Geelong showgrounds for Goldrush 2023.
Dogs young and old wore custom made event bandannas, while doing some puppy networking with their four-legged peers.
Stalls selling various pet products were also present so to keep the ‘goldies’ appropriately spoiled.
A spokesperson for the event said, the event was a massive success.
“We broke last years record and raised a lot of funds for golden retriever rescue,” they said.
The record was set at the same event last year in the suburb of Skye in Melbourne’s east.
