Emergency services attended a car blaze on Flinders Street in Queenscliff on Friday evening.
A CFA spokeswoman said crews responded to calls from triple-0 just before 7:30pm.
Nobody was in the car at the time of the blaze, the spokeswoman said.
“The crews had the fire under control by 7:40pm,” the spokeswoman said.
The fire was not being treated as suspicious.
In recent weeks, a number of fires have occurred in the region.
On blaze in Norlane left a woman dead and a man in hospital on Monday.
Earlier in February, police began investigating a suspicious car fire in Belmont that occurred in the early hours of Monday, February 13 under the Moorabool St Bridge.
A house in Geelong West was gutted by fire on Friday, February 17.
On February 6, a blaze consumed an abandoned house in Norlane, resulting in extensive damage.
