Fire investigators will probe the cause of a shed fire at a home in St Albans Park on Friday afternoon.
Multiple calls were made to triple-0 about smoke coming from the shed at the Govett Crescent property about 1:15pm.
The Geelong Advertiser understands firefighters had to cut a roller door to access the shed where a vintage car was parked and where gas bottles were stored.
A Fire Rescue Victoria spokeswoman said the fire was brought under control about 20 minutes after crews arrived.
“FRV crews (responded) to a shed fire in St Albans Park following multiple calls to Triple Zero (000) reporting flames just before 1:20 pm.
“Firefighters arrived at the Govette Crescent scene to find a shed fire containing a car and gas cylinders involved in fire.
“Wearing breathing apparatus, firefighters attacked the blaze with the incident declared under control at 1:39 pm.
“Ambulance Victoria assessed one patient at the scene.”
