Barwon Heads batter Tony Mirabella is the leading run scorer in the BPCA with two centuries

A Newcomb senior football coach and a Drysdale opening bowler are leading the runs and wickets table in the BPCA so far after five rounds. See how you compare.

We are five rounds into the Bellarine Peninsula Cricket Association and plenty of players have had standout campaigns so far in 2023-24.

Barwon Heads batter Tony Mirabella stands above the rest with bat in hand across all five senior grades, averaging 112.6 with 338 runs in the B2 competition with two centuries.

Mirabella’s highest score has been an 87-ball 146 with 13 sixes against Collendina in Round 4, following an equally brutal 103 off 71 balls with 11 sixes against Wallington in Round 3.

Meanwhile, Drysdale’s Blake Dobbin is the leading wicket taker with 19 poles at an average of 7.58 apiece in A2.

With the season now well underway, we’ve ranked every player in the BPCA’s five senior grades, from A1 to the Trewin Shield one day competition.
