The Sunday Telegraph and Daily Telegraph launch a four-part investigation into the drugs crisis gripping the state and the human toll of meth addiction.

It comes ahead of a Special Commission of Inquiry into Ice heading to five regional towns — Lismore, Dubbo, Nowra, Maitland and Broken Hill — to witness first hand the destruction ice and other drugs has caused.

More than one drug lab a week is busted in NSW and most are in residential areas across Sydney, with south west Sydney harbouring more meth labs than any other region in the state. On Sunday, May 5, The Sunday Telegraph reveals the stretch of road police have dubbed “The Meth Belt” and the suburbs overtaken by drug cooks.

And from Monday May 6 to Wednesday May 8, The Daily Telegraph will bring you the cost of the human toll and what is being done to win the war against drugs.
