Cricket Far North’s underage representative teams completed undefeated North Queensland Championship campaigns in Townsville.
Both the under-18s and under-21s swept aside Mackay-Whitsunday and Central Queensland to claim titles.
Liam Devietti enjoyed a sensational weekend, scoring two half-centuries for Far North’s all-conquering U21s team, though Chris Adams had arguably the knock of the day.
FAR NORTH’S BIG WIN SEALS OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP THREE-PEAT
Adams cracked 17 boundaries and five sixes as he scored 147 from 130 balls against Central Queensland, in an easy win.
Finn Churchward posted the best score for the under-18s when he scored 72 in their clash against Central Queensland. Far North won that game by 94 runs, a day after they beat Mackay by 38 runs.
Eleven Far North players were named for North Queensland in three grades.
