WHEN six-time women’s world surfing champion Stephanie Gilmore is not riding the waves she is working as ambassador for surfwear label Roxy.

The hardest working item in my wardrobe is: My Chloe black leather Cuban-heeled boots.

My most recent purchase was: A long white linen robe from Montalcino, Italy, made by a local artisan.

The wardrobe I wish I could raid belongs to: The jetset European girls, they always have the best style. Low key, effortless but quality, unique pieces. Eugenie Niarchos, the designer of Venyx World jewellery, jumps to mind.

Three items every woman should own are: A perfectly fitting light denim jean, a custom tailored blazer and a special piece of jewellery that feels unique to you.

I buy shoes over bags because: Good-quality shoes can never be underappreciated, especially on the road. Quality over quantity in this area.

My make-up MVP is: MAC face and body foundation, applied with my Ray Morris blending brush.

My ultimate skincare saviour is: Bioderma oil-free make-up remover for sensitive skin. It’s crucial to get my sunscreen off effectively.

I fix a bad hair day by:Washing and towel drying beforegoing for a surf, rinsing in freshwater after the surf and letting the sun dry it. It’s perfectly clean with a touch of salt. If I have fly-aways on top from humidity after this, I spray hairspray on to a tooth brush and gently comb around my part, it’s one of the best tricks I’ve learned.

My signature scent is: Philosykos by Diptyque.

My morning routine is: I wake up eight hours after I’ve fallen asleep — my body clock is usually spot on. I drink water as soon as I’m up, wipe my face with a warm face washer and start the day with a piece of fruit — I’m loving cold, sliced green apple at the moment. I check the surf, then surf. I drink coffee and make breakfast after returning from the beach, then get on with the day.

When surfing: I feel more at home than anywhere else.

My comfort food go-to is: Hitting up a cafe and picking a piece of the most delicious cake they have.

I’m a regular at: Little Mali cafe in my home town Rainbow Bay.

My favourite Sydney spot is: Porteno.

My party trick is: Turning into my alter ego DJ Red Velvet Cake, but only when it’s time for the disco beats to come out.

I’m currently binge watching: Stranger Things.

I’m listening to: Anderson Paak and Aldo Ciccolini.

My favourite app is: Google Earth.

My five dream dinner party guests would be: Lysa Cooper (stylist), bad gal Riri (Rihanna), Elon Musk, Diana Vreeland and Shane Smith (Vice TV).

If my life had a hashtag, it would be: #DisarmDoorsAndCrossCheck or #SurfAllDayAndDoTheHula. Both are highly relevant.
