Two patients, including a child, have been assessed by paramedics following a single-vehicle crash into a light pole in Edmonton.

At least one patient has been taken to hospital in a stable condition after a single-vehicle crash into a light pole in Edmonton.

Emergency services responded to reports of a traffic crash on Hambledon Drive and Woodlock Drive at 5pm on Sunday where they assessed two patients, including a child.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman confirmed crews on scene assessing at least one patient.

“We are on scene assessing one, possibly two patients,” the spokesman said.

A Queensland Fire Department spokesman confirmed one crew was on scene assisting QAS.

“We responded to reports of a single-vehicle that went off the median strip, struck a street light and knocked it over,” the spokesman said.

A Queensland Police spokesman confirmed traffic was not affected.
