A man has been charged with assaulting two officers after allegedly contravening a domestic violence order in Mossman.

A man has been charged with assaulting two officers after allegedly contravening a domestic violence order in Mossman on Tuesday night.
Mossman police were called to a disturbance at a home in Mossman Gorge at 7.45pm where it was alleged a 27-year-old Mossman Gorge man contravened a domestic violence order and refused to leave.
When he was arrested he allegedly assaulted and injured both officers.
He was charged with one count each of serious assault police, serious assault police causing bodily harm, and contravention of a domestic violence order.
He was refused bail and is scheduled to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court today, June 18.
