A Yarrabah mum says she hasn’t slept since her 17-year-old son went missing three weeks ago.
Kamaree Major says Markiah was last seen by loved ones in the Far North Queensland community on August 15.
Ms Major said her son is usually in constant contact with her and has never gone missing before.
“I haven’t been sleeping,” she said.
“His girlfriend hasn’t heard from him either.
“I last saw him on the afternoon of August 15. I’ve rung around, and nobody has seen him”.
Ms Major said she had filed a missing person’s report with the police who are looking for him but have had no luck so far.
“He left the house with a white shirt, black shorts, and a white hat on”.
A friend of Markiah’s said: “I had seen him the weekend before. We went out to the beach in convertibles to Palm Cove”.
“He is a lovely boy. He is very sweet, kind and quiet. I am very worried about what might have happened to him,” she said.
