FNQ weather forecast, rain ahead
If you didn't hang out your washing on the weekend, you’ll need to put off using the clothesline for a couple of days as the weather forecasters are predicting rain into Monday.

SUNBLOCK, a hat and an umbrella will be needed in Far North Queensland this week as the mercury creeps up and storm-clouds gather.
According to the Bureau of Meteorology, Cairns residents and visitors can expect a medium chance of showers for the next day or so.
With a top temperature of 36 on Sunday increasingly slightly to reach 37 on Monday and Tuesday, Wednesday is predicted to hit 38 before the mercury is predicted to fall to a positively balmy 34 by Saturday.
So carry your umbrella on Monday as there’s a 60 per cent chance of rain, with the odds lowering for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
But keep your brolly handy, as precipitation is looking likely with the BOM suggesting a 40 per cent chance of showers on Friday and a 50 per cent chance of rain on Saturday.
