A woman with a passion for racing and fashion has been crowned the Red Beret Hotel Cairns Cup Carnival Platinum Model Management Face of the Carnival.
Client experience consultant Chloe Fegatilli will be the Cairns Cup Carnival Ambassador for 2023, promoting the carnival and has won more than $2000 in prizes.
“I am excited they’ve chosen me to represent the Cairns Cup Carnival. I think there’s some exciting things coming,” she said.
Ms Fegatilli always tries to make it to all of the biggest racing events in the region but that all began when she started riding at a young age.
“It started with owning my own horse back when I was 14-years-old. It started in equestrian riding myself. Then I got into the racing industry from my family,” she said.
“The love has been grown from there. The racing, the horses themselves, the fashion side of it but still my love for racing.
Cairns Jockey Club general manager Cameron Riches said the momentum from the 2022 carnival will go into the new year.
“It’s great to have a young local racing enthusiast selected as the face of the carnival,” Mr Riches said.
“The Cairns Jockey Club has big plans for our cup carnival next year with ticket sales to be unveiled early 2023.”
