There will be a food van onsite, live music from 6pm, and the prize draw will be drawn just before the start of the free movie screening of Dragon Rider at 7pm.
Mr Hampton said he was happy to use his position as a professional athlete to encourage people to get the jab.
“A number of my teammates have been vocal in encouraging people to receive the vaccine and I’m really excited to be travelling to Edmonton to help spread the message,” he said.
“It is very important not only for our game, but also for the safety of all Australians, that as many people as possible get vaccinated.
“We all want to get back to normal and stepping forward and getting the jab is something we can all do to help achieve that.”
