Indigenous model trailblazer Elaine Tanaka has helped launch a Cairns shopping centre’s summer fashion campaign which will include everyday styling tips for customers.
Summer fashion has landed at Cairns Central, offering prizes, expert styling, and hot new looks.
The campaign launched this week with Elaine Tanaka (nee George), returning after she walked the catwalk for Cairns Central’s grand opening some 25 years ago.
Also at the launch was Cairns Central’s Summer resident stylist Annabel Falco, who will be showcasing the latest season’s trends available at Cairns Central, offering styling advice and insider tricks for customers.
Ms Falco, who is one of the nation’s most sought-after stylists and Brisbane City Fashion Ambassador, said her goal was to offer advice to people they could use day-to-day.
“As a stylist I want to make sure all my content is educational; I want people to get something from it,” Ms Falco said.
“We all have to wake up and get dressed and I want people to be able to walk out the door and feel good about themselves.”
Ms Falco said the advice would be geared towards different ages and body types, allowing shoppers to discover “fabulous treasures” with fresh eyes.
Cairns Central marketing manager Louise Struber was excited to showcase the best of the shopping on offer.
“What an incredible opportunity to have Elaine George feature in our Spring Summer campaign after being part of the centre’s grand opening launch 25 years ago,” Ms Struber said.
“This season customers will be inspired by key trends which are all about textured neutrals, bold bright, gingham, graphic prints and bold accessories.”
Customers will have the chance to win a share in $25,000 worth of Cairns Central Gift Cards when they spend $150 on fashion, beauty or homewares in the centre.
