A prime mover transporting a rail motor has crashed on the Kennedy Highway at Evelyn on the Tablelands
A crane will have to be trucked in from Townsville to right a prime mover which was transporting a rail motor rolled on a windy Far North highway on Monday morning.

A crane has been summoned from Townsville to retrieve and transport a prime mover which was transporting a rail motor, rolled on a major Far North road on Monday morning.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said officers were called around 11am to a crash on the Tablelands.
“Police were called to a truck rollover on the Kennedy Highway, approximately 700 metres south of Longlands Gap – Herberton Rd,” she said.
”The vehicle was carrying a rail motor and is partly disrupting northbound traffic.
“A crane has to come from Townsville to right the wrecked truck and the lane will be disrupted for some hours.”
The spokeswoman said one crew of officers has remained on scene while Transport and Main Roads personnel managed traffic flow.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman confirmed paramedics had attended.
“A man in his 50s was assessed but was uninjured,” he said.
“He did not require transportation.”
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokesman said one crew attended between 11.30am and 12.15pm.
Meanwhile, QldTraffic advised motorists to “proceed with caution.”
