The second day of the annual Cairns Cup Racing Carnival  was headlined by the $150,000 Cairns Cup (2100m), with the $50,000 Magic Millions Daintree Guineas QTIS 4YO Handicap (1500m) and the $30,000 Lightning Open Handicap (950m) also on the nine-race card.
