Donning their signature matching white outfits, the couple looked a little weary after their first few weeks of parenthood as they soaked up the sun.

The pair announced the birth of their son, whose name is yet to be publicly revealed, earlier this month.

The couple are back in the country as they look to sell a French chateau purchased with the $2.4m compensation payout Ms Higgins received after suing the Commonwealth over the handling of rape allegations she made against former colleague Bruce Lehrmann.

The 1.2-acre estate is currently on the market for €367,500 (AU$628,000), having had its asking price slashed by €52,500 (AU$89,846) as Ms Higgins and Mr Sharaz look to sell it in order to cover legal costs associated with ongoing defamation action brought against the couple by Ms Higgins’ former boss, Senator Linda Reynolds.

The couple left the country in 2023, following a protracted legal saga in which Mr Lehrmann’s criminal trial was aborted due to juror misconduct.

Mr Lehrmann, who had pleaded not guilty to sexual intercourse without consent, maintains his innocence.

In a subsequent civil case, the Federal Court found, on the balance of probabilities, Mr Lehrmann had raped Ms Higgins on a couch in Senator Reynolds’ office.

Mr Lehrmann is currently appealing against that decision.
