Woman, 60s, arrested after man’s body found at Sydney home

A woman aged in her 60s has been arrested after the body of a man known to her was found at a suburban home.

An elderly woman has been arrested after the body of a man known to her was found at a home in Sydney’s northwest.

Police were called to Damon Ave in Epping about 11am on Saturday after reports of a concern for welfare.

On arrival, officers located of a man believed to be aged in his 60s; he is yet to be formally identified.

A woman, also believed to be aged in her 60s, was arrested at the scene and is assisting police.

Initial investigations have led police to believe that the pair were known to each other.

Police are urging anyone with information is urged to come forward and contact Ryde police.
